Our Impact Areas
From classrooms to community spaces, each project has a clear purpose, a defined group it serves, and outcomes that can be seen and measured. On this page you can explore the core strands of our work and click through to learn more about each one.
🏫
School Enrichment
We work with teachers to co‑design visits, intervention programmes and themed days that support attendance, behaviour and wellbeing, not just “PE for an hour and go home”.
School should feel exciting, active and full of opportunities to succeed. Our School Enrichment projects bring high‑energy, curriculum‑linked sessions into local schools and to our base at Charles Street, helping pupils build confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity.

Alternative Provision (AP)
Some pupils cannot attend a mainstream school setting because of exclusion, illness or other reasons, but they still deserve a high‑quality, engaging education offer. Our Alternative Provision projects give schools and local partners a flexible, movement‑rich option for pupils who need something different to succeed.
Working alongside schools and the local authority, we provide structured, curriculum‑linked sessions in a smaller, supportive environment, with a clear focus on re‑engagement, confidence and pathways back into education, training or positive destinations.

Positive Youth Pathways
Some young people are at greater risk of exclusion, exploitation or contact with the justice system. Our Positive Youth Pathways projects provide earlier, positive alternatives: safe spaces, trusted adults and purposeful activities that keep young people connected to education and community.
Through mentoring, small‑group work and links to training and volunteering, we focus on strengths, aspirations and practical next steps rather than labels or deficits.

Fighting Obesity
Too many children and families are growing up inactive, isolated and at higher risk of poor health. Our Fighting Obesity projects make it easier – and more fun – for people to move more, eat better and feel part of a supportive community.
Using games, challenges and small, sustainable habit changes, we create welcoming spaces where fitness is for everyone, not just the already sporty.

Learn by Doing (Kinaesthetic Learning)
Not everyone learns best by sitting still and listening. Our Learn by Doing projects use kinaesthetic, hands‑on activities to help children and young people grasp new skills, ideas and qualifications through movement and practical experience.
From problem‑solving games to physically‑active learning tasks, we create environments where “fidgety” learners can thrive and where success is felt as well as written down.

Dementiology
Dementiology is our developing strand focused on families living with dementia and those who support them. Our projects combine movement, memory‑friendly activities and accessible information to help carers and loved ones stay active, connected and better equipped.
By working with partners and drawing on lived experience, we are building practical, local offers that reduce isolation and improve quality of life for everyone involved.
